“Vintage Bikes” Diagnostic Fee: $175 PER Cylinder for any bike older than 10+ years old
”Modern Bikes” Diagnostic Fee: $200 FLAT RATE
Why is there a diagnostic fee? I have had multiple bikes come through the shop with blown engines that were not caught early. Only AFTER I spent many hours sealing up intakes, checking and fixing points, do I realize the bike has terminal blow by. This fee is to protect you from dumping thousands into a bike, that very well may be on its last legs. It is also to protect me, in case someone decides to not fix their bike after the initial diagnostic, I still get paid for my time.
